OpenSynergy promotes young talents for computer science

The Berlin IT company OpenSynergy has donated around 70 devices to the Heinrich-Hertz-Gymnasium in Berlin for the computer science department. Computer science has been taught at this school for almost 40 years and today students can choose the subject as a performance subject. As a school with a mathematics and science profile, it also offers a number of computer science study groups in addition to the regular subject classes.

The school regularly participates successfully in youth competitions (JwInf) and national competitions (BwInf). Ralf Dorn, Head of Computer Science and MINT Coordinator at Heinrich-Hertz-Gymnasium: “With its donation, OpenSynergy has supported our commitment to a modern and highly qualified education of young IT professionals. Thus, together we can make an important contribution to the fight against the shortage of skilled workers.
