Key Account Manager (f/m/d)

Location: Berlin, Start: immediately

Focusing sales efforts on the Tier 1, OEMs and manufacturers in the EMEA automotive industry.

Your Responsibilities

  • Focusing sales efforts on the Tier 1, OEMs and manufacturers in the EMEA automotive industry. Both expanding our existing customer base and penetrating new companies and similar market opportunities

  • Researching, initiating & following up, closing and otherwise managing automotive sales in this region. This will include working with our partner management & marketing teams to assess possible alliance member opportunities and provide market feedback concerning future functionality & requirements where possible for this segment

  • Managing automotive customer expectations and account development as well as establishing customer relationships

  • Working with the international sales team, comprised of an assigned Solution Engineer/Field Application Engineer and applicable Technical Program Managers to analyze customer requirements, deliver product and services against customer needs and manage the sales cycle through to revenue recognition

  • Providing regular forecast and reporting and managing the lead pipelline

  • Working with OpenSynergy’s functional departments towards penetrating the Tier 1’s and OEMs and meeting commitments made to these customers. This includes assisting in defining strategic marketing initiatives, liaising with Research and Development to communicate customer technical requirements and ensuring support commitments are fulfilled to deliver customer satisfaction

  • Interacting with our partner network and represent OpenSynergy at events, trade shows and table tops.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Completed university or colleague education with a degree or diploma in Computer Science/Industrial Engineering/ Business Informatics or Business Administration or a comparable degree

  • 10+ years of embedded automotive sales experience in the international field and a proven track of record of consistent sales quota achievement

  • Excellent communication skills in German and English

  • Comprehensive experience in sales or account management

  • Experience in technology product and service sales within the embedded real-time market

  • Experience selling to the Tier-1/OEM companies in the Automotive market inclusing all segments such as Infotainment, Digital Intrument Cluster, ADAS, Telematics and Connectivity & Bluetooth

  • Excellent presentation skills and the ability to explain complex facts in simple words

  • Experience negotiating, managing and closing major accounts

  • Experience negotiating, managing and closing major accounts

  • Must be comfortable working in all sales media, including delivering presentations to customers and proposal writing

  • High degree of motivation, commitment, flexibility and self-responsibility.
