Administration, optimization and extension of the heterogeneous system landscape.

Your Tasks

  • Administration, optimization and extension of the heterogeneous system landscape

  • Responsible for the smooth IT operation

  • Responsible for IT security and data security

  • Conceptual design, development and implementation of IT projects

  • Procurement and inventory of the necessary hardware and software

  • Management of components including external license and support contracts

  • Assisting employees with technical problems

  • Participation in the on-call service.

Our Expectations

  • You hold a state-recognized degree as a computer scientist or through a qualified education in this field

  • You have profound knowledge in the support of the operating systems Windows / Linux in the server and client environment

  • You have a sound knowledge of managing the network services ActiveDirectory, DHCP, DNS, RADIUS, MS Exchange

  • You have a strong knowledge in the management of networks including troubleshooting (Ethernet, TCP / IP, switching, VLAN, routing, VPN, firewall)

  • You have a good knowledge of server virtualization (eg VMWare, KVM, HyperV)

  • Experience in databases (MySQL / PostgreSQL) and webserver (Apache / NGINX) is desirable

  • Ideally, you have knowledge of endpoint management including software packaging and patch management.

  • Experience in supervising software development tools (JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins, Bamboo, SVN, GIT) is advantageous

  • Very good knowledge of English spoken and written, knowledge of German is not mandatory

  • They have analytical skills coupled with a high level of initiative and, moreover, have a strong team and service orientation.
