Meet OpenSynergy at GENIVI AMM

The GENIVI All Member Meeting & Open Community Days are scheduled for May 14-16, 2019 at the Munich Marriott Hotel in Munich, Germany. The topic of discussion will be Multi-OS integration in the vehicle cockpit. The agenda will focus on products for the cockpit as well as on  technologies in areas such as deploying hypervisors in the vehicle and selecting a display sharing approach

On May 15 and 16, Workshops and technical sessions are open to members and nonmembers of the GENIVI Alliance. Nonmember attendees will gain insights into industry trends for in-car software and the future of connected car technologies. OpenSynergy will join the workshop Hypervisor Project Report, to share their experiences with hypervisor projects in the automotive industry.  This workshop will take place on Thursday, May 16 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.  Click here to register.

Come and see OpenSynergy’s Cockpit Controller at the Showcase

OpenSynergy is going to present live demonstrations of its Safe Multi-Display Cockpit Controller with Remote GPU at the Showcase and Reception schedules on May 15 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The demonstration will show:

  • OpenSynergy’s Safety Concept for a Linux-based instrument cluster based on COQOS Hypervisor SDK. TÜV SÜD has confirmed that this concept satisfies the safety requirements for the correct rendering of telltales up to ISO 26262 ASIL-B.
  • OpenSynergy’s Shared Display Feature, which gives full flexibility and controls how information is rendered on multiple displays in the vehicle.
  • OpenSynergy’s Remote GPU takes virtualization to the next level: it enables several software systems to share the GPU power and displays available on different ECUs in the car, even running SoC’s produced by different vendors.
