Visit us at embedded world 2012

At the upcoming embedded world in Nuremberg, OpenSynergy is showing its standards-based software platform COQOS at two locations. COQOS makes it possible to build automotive infotainment and telematics systems that include Linux and/or Android, satisfy automotive requirements and are AUTOSAR-compliant.

Both demonstrators are based on Freescale's i.MX53 SABRE reference design and have the standard single DIN size (automotive ready). They include all the periphery that a head-unit requires, such as Bluetooth, GPS, WLAN, FM-Tuner, audio-amplifier, 3G USB-Modem and CAN connectivity. The demonstrator exemplifies the main features and advantages of COQOS in five concrete use cases: real time performance, security, full-featured Android virtualization, fast boot of the CAN interface and connectivity between the CAN bus and Linux.

Don't miss the following technical presentations at the conference:

• "Two birds with one stone - Safety and Security for Automotive using Microkernel Technology".
Author: Dr. Matthias Gerlach (Software Engineer, OpenSynergy).
Co-Authors: Matthias Lötzke (Head of Product Development, SYSGO), Hartmut Kaiser (Product Manager Embedded Security, secunet).
Date: March 1, 9:30 - 10:00 AM. (The presentation is part of the session 20: " Embedded System Applications I".)

• "Security in embedded real-time Hypervisors":
Author: Dr. Sergey Tverdyshev (Project Engineer SYSGO).
Date: February 28, 1:30 - 2:00 PM. (The presentation is part of the workshop Class 5: " Cryptography and embedded Security".)

• "Development of highly available embedded systems with model-based design tools",
Author: Binh An Tran (Technical University Munich).
Date: February 29, 9:00 – 9:30 AM. (The presentation is part of the session 7: “Model Based Development of Embedded Systems I”.)

We are looking forward to your visit at our common booth with SYSGO (hall 5, booth 234) and at the booth of Freescale (hall 4A/4A-309).
